Providence College Galleries is thrilled to share the inaugural playlist by Providence-based DJ and multi-disciplinary producer WHERE’S NASTY for our new series “PCG Surround Sounds.”
For each exhibition taking place this year at PCG, WHERE’S NASTY will curate a playlist inspired by the work and concepts driving each exhibition. This playlist is inspired by PCG’s latest My HomeCourt commission by Andrea Bergart, which launched at Providence’s Cranston Street Park on September 17, 2020.
WHERE’S NASTY is a Providence-based DJ who co-founded stay silent, an agency and creative platform that focuses on producing experiences, editorials, design and marketing.
This playlist is organized by current PCG Curator-at-Large and Creative Director at My HomeCourt, Kate McNamara. McNamara has deep interests in exhibition programming and finding ways to reimagine the boundaries of public engagement. This project evolved out of her interest in local collaborations and participation that can happen within the current mandatory social distance model.
