Artist-Led Tour & Reception for Providence Prints!

October 26, 2022
5:00pm–7:00pm

Smith Center for the Arts

Program Description

As part of PCG’s opening events for the exhibition Providence Prints!, please join us for an artist-led tour of the exhibition. The 30-minute tour begins at 5pm followed by a reception.

The exhibition features print-based artworks that highlight new perspectives on subjects that remain central to local contemporary artists, including feminist and queer aesthetics, wide-ranging depictions of diversity, and advocacy for anti-racist practices. On view are multi-artist projects selected from the archives of AS220 Editions, Binch Press, Counterform, Queer.Archive.Work, DWRI Letterpress, and Jacques’ Offset. A wallpaper custom-designed by Lois Harada (DWRI Letterpress) is also on view.
