Launching PCG’s New Brand Identity!

November 8, 2021

Description

PCG is proud to launch a new brand identity and website that celebrates all that we are and aspire to be: A bold institution showcasing the art and artists of our time. A beacon of the liberal arts with a legacy of generating interdisciplinary scholarship. A site for building community and facilitating exchange.

Visit pcgalleries.providence.edu for a glimpse of our new look in action. The identity and website design has been developed in partnership with Some All None of Los Angeles and HOUR Studio of St.Louis/Chicago. Highlights include a suite of dynamic and interconnected logos inspired by the torch icon in the College’s main logo, and a gorgeous home-page animation created by PCG staff member and acclaimed artist Elizabeth Corkery. An exhibition archive and (continually growing) collection database visualize our many resources, while a Collaborations section explains PCG’s partnerships with local organizations and communities. Plus, there’s a teaser of what’s to come this winter—just look for the friendly PAL logo.

We also see our identity, the website, and all of our physical resources as a reflection of our commitment to you, our multifaceted audiences and supporters. We hope you enjoy them and that they inspire repeated use!
