Hunt-Cavanagh & Reilly Galleries
March 18 – April 8, 2017
Saturday, March 18, 3–5pm
This set of exhibitions is comprised of three solo shows by graduating Providence College Studio Art majors Jess Artigliere and Evan Daigle. In studios dedicated to research and artistic exploration, the graduating Studio Art majors work for a full academic year to create a cohesive body of artwork. As a result, they each present thesis projects that highlight the dynamic ways in which today’s artists experiment with materials and content, conduct in-depth cultural research, and craft new visual experiences. Organized by the student artists under the advisement of faculty advisers and PC-G staff, the Studio Art majors’ exhibitions demonstrate the rigorous study and production of Studio Art majors in their transform from students to professional visual artists.
